Zhirinovsky is short sighted...

https://news.rambler.ru/politics/42572164-zhirinovskiy-nazval-prichinu-problem-rossii/

Zhirinovsky's thesis...means to surrender to the mercy of the rich and powerful.  He says Russia is suffering from cultural stagnation due to "incompetent" government leaders after the October revolution.  Russian culture derives from the aggregate expression of all its peoples...not only those who lead the machinations of the state.  Lenin and Stalin were as strong Centralist's as the Romanov's, but the Russian people continued to flourish in all aspects of decency and humanity.  The October revolution provided the workers of Russia and the world the opportunity to gain concessions from the leadership.  Cultural shift of inclusiveness.  Times have changed and the Russian people are once again faced with the Central desires of the powerful...on a much larger scale than the Romanov dynasty.  Will the Russian people give up their identity and succumb to a uni polar culture, or will they defend their "culture of dignity"?  History suggests the latter.
